The Fuko Story | Australian Handcrafted Shaving Brushes with Soul

I’m Pat — the French-Aussie guy behind Fuko.

Fuko was born by the ocean in Emerald Beach, Australia, in a little workshop where flowers, wood, and resin come together to create more than just a handle — they become handcrafted Australian shaving brushes, each one completely unique.

Every Fuko brush is made by hand, one at a time, by me — often embedding real flowers, native Australian timbers, or beach-foraged finds in crystal-clear resin. No two brushes are ever the same.

Fuko is about slow rituals, not fast routines. It’s for the wet shavers who appreciate craftsmanship, detail, and the quiet power of preparation. It’s about reconnecting with texture, scent, stillness — and celebrating the art of wet shaving.

That’s why Fuko proudly supports men’s mental health through the calming rhythm of shaving — one lather, one breath, one stroke, one moment at a time.

Each artisan shaving brush is inspired by Australia’s wild natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. Many feature native flora and elements that honour the stories of this land — the spirit of Australia embedded in every handle.

Fuko proudly acknowledges the Gumbaynggirr people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which these brushes are made. I pay my respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging.

So whether you're a seasoned wet shaver or new to the ritual, I hope your handmade Fuko shaving brush becomes a cherished part of your morning or evening rhythm — crafted to be used daily, loved for years, and passed down with a story.
